RESULTS OF 6 CRPS on RADIATION ONCOLOGY presented in the European Society of Radiation Oncology (ESTRO) Forum sessions

The session’s presentations featured five studies and trials on radiation treatments for cancer of the head-and-neck, breast, rectum, bone and lung, as well as two investigative surveys of radiotherapy capacities in developing countries. These were conducted with support from the IAEA and in collaboration with Member States and other organizations.

Following CRPs were involved:

  •  Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy in Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (E3.30.29)
  •  Resource Sparing Curative Treatment in Breast Cancer (E3.30.25)
  •  Resource-Sparing Curative Treatment for Rectal Cancer (E3.30.34)
  •  Investigation of Optimal Radiotherapy Regimen and Type of Irradiation in Treatment of Painful Bone Metastasis (E3.30.28)
  •  Evidence-Based Assessment of Radiotherapy Demand and Quality of Radiotherapy Services (E3.30.37)
